[ Glenn as a Populist
Glenn has been called a lot of ists over the years: Racist and fascist being the two most popular. But the latest batches of people calling him populist are particularly amusing. ](Stu's Blog)
Reply to Glenn Beck:
What about idiotist?
That may sound a little harsh, but just enjoyed creating a new word for ya. I have a beef to pick with Glenn, despite the fact that I mostly watch his show when I can, and am a conservative pescetarian, and that is: Why do you go out of your way to make sure every guest on your show must agree with your inaccurate opinion that Democrats and Republicans are equally responsible for the mess were in now? 50/50 I believe is how you put it. And you do this repeatedly.

It doesn’t matter whether I agree with Glenn Beck’s conclusions or even like or dislike his emotionalism.
He asks the questions I would like answered and he does it with courage.
This is exactly what is lacking in the rest of the liberal/media complex.
I agree with your assessment of Glenn’s Show. He is one of the only people who exposes the dirty underwear in DC.
I also turn the channel when Baier comes on. He has the same old worthless elites spouting their useless drivel while trying to sound wise.
It is a RINO Show.
Glenn Beck was one of the first media figures to support Sarah Palin. He continues to support Sarah Palin.
Give me 1000 Glenn Becks for ONE Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or ...
Glenn does his JOB.
Beck’s child like antics on TV are enough to
not waste my time listening to him elsewhere.
I prefere talkshow hosts with substantive backgrounds
and who are believeable such as Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin,
and John Batchelor.
They're more cerebral than the others that I listen to; even then, Laura gets into "giggle sessions" with her producers, and the screeching monkey noise is annoying.
Mark Levin is certainly smart and sincere enough, but needs some kind of electronic voice enhancement. (Needs to remove his nose clip).
You may not listen to other voices, but my usual hosts are as varied as Todd Schnitt, Tammy Bruce, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Roger Hedgecock, Roy Masters, Steve Malzburg, Glen Beck, and Rush Limbaugh. (My usual sources are WIOD, WTLK, WRKO, WGBR, and WABC).
I really miss Barry Farber. :(
Shortly after 9/11 (and an occasional stand-in for others) is a superb radio host (a no-nonsense guy who has "bach" as part of his last nameLautbach, Stillbach? I forget).
My primary station (Florida's WIOD-AM) replays the week's best excerpts on Sundays and I listen again! The excerpts are handy reminders for daily political contributions to my local on-line forum. (Something we ALL should be doing, BTW).
Glenn is very skilled at his craftplus he and his sidekick, "Stu", keep up some hilarious skits that are needed after the serious rants against Socialism. ("Frontline" announcements come to mind). Beck needs to lose the "More On Trivia" segments. We "get it" that convenience stores hire Illegals who vote and other idiots.
I tune in Rush before going to sleep: not because he's boringthough he does repeat himself and uses obvious synonyms serially (...in our country, in our land...). It is because I can doze peacefully content that there are millions of listeners to a highly regarded drive-by-media alternative.
Former San Diego Mayor Roger Hedgecock substitutes quite well on occasion, but is not broadcast in my areas. In the run-up to the 2004 election, WABC's Steve Malzberg was superb, but moved from WABC and toned down his program.
G. Gordon Liddy, Roy Masters, and the remainder are certainly sincere enough, but I wouldn't want them as a daily three-hour daytime show.
John Bolton needs to take over Savage's show, IMHO.
An occasional conservative guest, Jackie Mason, has become unintelligible.
Glen Beck, I'll concur with the others, is a patriot of the first order.
While traveling, I've seen Glen Beck on CNN. I saw nothing there that equates to "child-like antics".
Roger Hedgecock has had a talk show for years here in San Diego. It went national.
He is a nice guy but don’t listen to him.
