Indeed. You are looking at the emergence of fascism preceded by authoritarianism. What we are seeing is just the beginning. With raving Marxists like Frank crying for the takeover of businesses and their payrolls -— it is no secret now. I have said many times this scenario is very similar to prewar Europe.

Thank you I have been saying that for several months now & people just don’t seem to understand that Mussolini was a socialist all of his life .

He figured out that you could get the advantages ( from the politicians point of view) of socialism without the excess baggage, by imposing fascism ie you control the means of production but don’t have the responsibility of ownership . When things don’t work out you have a ready made scapegoat the real owners.
