The Speech Hammering Gordon Brown that Preceded Daniel Hannan's Speech - Video 3/24/09

Here is a speech brought to my attention by a Freedom's Lighthouse reader, ukipwebmaster, of a British Member of the European Parliament Nigel Farrage hammering British Prime Minister for his pro-European Union, Socialist policies on March 24, 2009. This speech reportedly preceded by a few minutes the wonderful speech by Daniel Hannan posted here and many other places across the internet. Farrage hammers Brown for his stewardship of the economy and mocks him for his tendency to constantly apologize for Britain on virtually everything, but his unwillingness to apologize for his own blunders. . . . . . (Watch Video of Farrage Speech)

My only surprise is that no one goes and wipes it off his fool face! Love how these guys take the battle to the enemy within!

Farrage’s speech is every bit as good as Hannan’s
And I no longer feel sorry for Brown being dissed by
Obama ( it no longer looks like a diss) with his ‘gift’
of a box set of American classic films. It seems that Brown and Obama are two of a kind.

Farage and Hannan - two great speeches, two great speakers. Short and sharp speeches, direct and to the point, beautifully delivered.

In the US, we have only a few politicians who can deliver speeches of this quality. Sarah Palin is at the top of the league in this country.

Gordon Brown is an increasingly pathetic figure.

WRT the DVDs, it wasn’t really the point that Gordon Brown himself was insulted, it was that the PM of Great Britain had been insulted.
Nobody here has much time for Obama, but it would (or should) be a matter of concern for anyone here if he was disrespected by a foreign leader, because it isn’t just the individual that is being insulted, it is the nation as a whole...

Would that we had such men in our Senate as are in England’s Parliament.

I understand what you’re saying, and agree.
It is so much “all of a piece” with Obama, though,
that I suppose he might’ve given a “Dollar Store” gift
to even a Tory PM if he’d even deign to meet him.
This creep after all is the one who removed the bust of Winston Churchill out of the Oval Office.
This creep has got far bigger and more far reaching plans for us than Gordon Brown could ever conceive.
I didn’t really know much about Brown before this Hannan speech (and the Farrage speech which I just saw), so I was naturally a little sorry for him personally, now not so much, but, yes, sorrier, far sorrier for the rancidly casual way this “President” deals with , well, let’s be honest, the way he deals with “white men”.

“In the US, we have only a few politicians who can deliver speeches of this quality. Sarah Palin is at the top of the league in this country.”

I’m a fan of Palin, but Hannan not only speaks well, he has a depth and breadth of knowledge that Palin lacks. That’s what she needs to be working on for the next few years. The closest we have to Hannan is Bobby Jindal, his awful “response” to BHO notwithstanding.
