You need to understand that most people would not agree with you. I’m not saying most republicans or most democrats. Most average people will simply not agree. Most average people think the worst things about Ann Coulter, and now because of media focus they think the most horrible things about Rush Limbaugh.

As an intelligent politician, one should distance him/herself from Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. Even if it means insulting them, that’s fine, whatever it takes to win. In the end, they’ll both have same ideas, so it’s a victory for Republicans.

You need to think differently. You need to think about what you would do as a politician to win. Participating in partisan politics leads to defeat. Obama did his best to keep his distance from any figure on the left. Obama kept himself away from calling the opponent names etc. In the end it helped him. He used surrogates a lot more to attack his opponent.

“liberal lite Democrats” are not the problem. In fact, I have barely seen any. Your standard of “liberal” and “conservative” is so strict that whenever a Republican party even considers compromising on an issue, he is automatically an outcast. This only leads to defeat.

Screw the Republicans! Its not about any stinking party, its about staying true to our founding principles of sovereign individualism, which means smaller government, and a free market approach to society. If you can`t understand that then you`re a lost cause as well.

whatever it takes to win.

I can hardly credit that someone would make this nakedly Machiavellian statement in public.WHATEVER it takes? Suppose what it took was enslaving or exterminating a race or class of people, would you do that? And do not try to claim that this is impossible, not in a week in which mobs of people are talking about exterminating the families of anyone in the financial industry. Maybe we would need to do that to win -- should we do it?

You need to understand that most people would not agree with you.

And you know this because of the extensive market research on conservatism you've done? This is just your unsupported opinion and your opinion is like your @sshole. Everyone has one, but no one other than you is interested in yours.

You need to think differently.

Well I'll give you that with that statment you've shown that you're arrogant and pompous enough to think like a politician, but sorry jack I don't need to think any way but the way I already do.
