Theres a good reason to be a little disturbed by the results of a recent 7News/Suffolk University poll concerning Massachusetts politics.
According to the poll, 35 percent of Bay State voters do not know that Tim Murray is the states lieutenant governor. Also, 34 percent are unfamiliar with Chris Gabrieli (despite the fact that he ran for Governor in 2006, Lieutenant Governor in 2002 and Congress in 1998), 30 percent are unfamiliar with State Auditor Joseph DeNucci, 23 percent have no knowledge of Secretary of State Bill Galvin or State Treasurer Tim Cahill, 33 percent are unfamiliar with 2006 gubernatorial candidate Christy Mihosand an astounding 59 percent have never heard of potential 2010 gubernatorial contender Charles Baker.
How could so many Bay State voters be unfamiliar with these high-profile figures? One has to wonder how frequently these voters read newspapers, listen to news/talk programs or frequent politically-oriented websites. As clichéd as it sounds, the fact that so many Massachusetts voters seem to be uninformed about these political figuresand, by definition, what some of these pols stand forspells trouble for democracy in this state.
Yes, Massachusetts residents who have no love for Governor Patrick should be thrilled that 49 percent of those polled disapprove of the job he has done as the states Chief Executive. Yet one cant help wondering: of those 49 percent, how many are actually familiar with Patricks actions as Governor? Do they dislike him for more superficial reasonshis demeanor, say?

Well all you need to know here is how to check off the (D) [/sarcasm] oh wait no need for the [/sarcasm].
Beautiful.
I wonder if these Mass-holes know they have elected Bawny Fwank and Teddy (hic) Kennedy to Congress?
A population of ignoramuses. Elections are decided by the uninformed. This was a huge problem for the last election and the election of this dolt to the White House, but it goes back many years and has resulted in terrible people throughout government. It is not just a GOP problem. Few people who would serve the country well want to get into the muck wars. It is not worth it. Instead we get overambitious and unethical losers who get elected and reelected.
A majority of Obama voters had no clue that his party was running both houses of congress for the past two years. Man on the street interviews on Leno and Hannity alike show how pathetic people are these days. It is depressing.
That's because the community organizer doing the demohack, teachers union, bidding didn't want to burden the ACORN crack voters with extraneous information.
What could be more disturbing than to elect a Senator who caused a death of a girl while driving drunk ?

One out of every five dollars of the MA stimulus money is going to be used to erect a memorial site dedicated to this POS. The site will include a replica of the senate (I’m not making this up) where senators can be “trained”. That ought to disturb you cause it sure disturbs me.
The entire Massachusetts delegation is disturbing.
