Jennifer Stone-Anderson says her 2004 Saturn Ion became a work of art this fall when she covered it with elaborate paintings supporting Barack Obama.
But Chrysler, which financed her car purchase, maintains that it's just a car. And that Stone-Anderson has been missing payments. And that her work of "art" is about to be repossessed. Read on

I wonder what the contract says about altering the vehicle. She could lose it and still owe for defacing it.
LMAO! (I needed a chuckle while witnessing my country being taken over and destroyed.)
Oops, I forgot. Binding contracts are so passe’ in today’s world. The government doesn’t honor them, why should a private citizen?
*disclaimer I dont know if he is running for anything just being funny
Looking at the pictures in your post #16, I had the impression that we were actually seeing into the “mind” (?) of a Zero Supporter.
That car is intellectual vomit.
..... and who the hell would want it back?
“There are some cars even we don’t want back.”
Pig.
I got a great idea...maybe we can take up collection (freepers)...yeah I kinda dont want her to make out but what if we posted on the net us bashing with sledgehammers 5 dollars for 2 minutes. then setting it on fire. it would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT
I can think of about 1500 (?) members of DU who'd get into a catfight over that car. Maybe one less as she's likely one of them...
If she had any sense she would auction this monstrosity on Ebay. Probably come out ahead on the deal. But instead of using the market and a little ingenuity she’s looking for a bailout.
Crush it!!!
Is it legal to paint your license plate?
Obamma say I ain’t gotsta pay fo MAH ryde!
I got a vanity plate for my Harley that says "Type O" for the band Type O Negative.
I was going to stick a tiny piece of black tape inside the "O" for a "-" sign so it would kind of like look this "Ɵ" but was told by a state trooper friend that if I were caught, I'd be in a world of hurt.
*You* don't own your license plate; the state does.
I sport a hyphenated name.
My artwork is signed with my maiden name and anything like legal documents or medical forms gets the hyphen or married version.
Does that make me an Obama supporter?
[FYI...I’m an extremely far-right wing paleo-Conservative]
Nope! My plate is a reference to a Bible verse. Using nail polish I added a ":" and a "-" to the plate. A state cop pulled me over and ticketed me for "altered registration". I went to court and the judge waived the fine, but I was told that I had 24 hours to remove the symbols and appear at my local police department to have them sign a paper stating that the offending punctuation was gone.
