Barack Obama, The New Iranian Dick Clark
Weekly Standard/Yidwithlid ^ | 3/22/09 | Yidwithlid

Only this President of the United States would sent such a dhimmi message to Iran. This man would would put his own country in danger by closing Gitmo, and stopping practices such water boarding for "human rights" reasons, just made a speech to the people of Iran without recognizing their suffering.

Like much of what the President has done in the two months since he took office, his message was one on weakness. So there's no reiteration of the demand that Iran stop its program for developing nuclear weapons in return of normal ties.

Ahmadinejad saw right through Obama's message right away, his spokesman said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran welcome's Obama's message, however demanded practical shifts in the U.S. conduct in order to demonstrate a sincere attempt to redeem past mistakes." Ali-Akbar Javan-Fekr said: "The U.S. ...must atone for it's past mistakes toward the Islamic Republic of Iran and must make fundamental changes in it's policy. Differences between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to exist for as long as Washington continues to blindly support the evil regime of Israel." Ahmadinejad's spokesman also added: "The United States must discontinue its violent behavior, it must stop arresting Muslims and must stop supporting terrorist groups around the world!"

Wow, democRATS really believe that this guy is the Messiah, the One, the Saviour! Like Rush’s monologue, even if his whole brain is tied behind is back, Obama still would be an idiot!

We are beginning to see the end of the DEMOCRATS. If I were a congressman or a senator, I would stay away from this lightning rod idiot. What these supposedly smart people keep forgetting is that a President can be elected a maximum of two terms. But members of Congress can be elected as much as they want to serve, or even to the point of retiring as a senator or congressman. I would not jeopardize my career for a one term or even less than a term president. Why would I? After he leaves, he has no more clout!

No, what we are seeing, unless things turn around very soon, is the end of the United States.

These bastards will do everything they can to take us all down if they realize they are going down.

I thought the reference here was one to “America’s Oldest Teenager,” although that point was not driven home. I guess it’s just New Year’s on the Islamic Calendar?

Whatever and however Dick Clark means, my take and no mea culpas. I believe he is more clueless/naive than Carter, if that is possible.
