I never thought of it that was since all through the years we were used to seeing Arabs dressed like that. Even the robes rather than pants. It was just the garb of their culture. Jesus wore robes.
Someone wrote to Dear Abby, saying that her husband liked skirts to work in because they were cooler!! Lol. Abby said there are many men who wear kilts because of that.
I've never run into one yet, lol.
