Many thanks to Tiberi & (gasp) Voinovich for not being in on the take.
EVEN Kucinich.
For that matter, thanks to all who didn’t sell us out.

“Time for these folks to write a check to the United States Taxpayers. This is the list of politicians who received political contributions from AIG in the 2008 election cycle. Chris “Sweet Deal” Dodd heads the list, with our illustrious president right behind him. And these are the two main guys “fixing” the problem? Sounds like they should be sitting in the witness chair answering questions, not asking them.”

Lots of presidential contenders on that list. Frankly the whole bunch disgusts me.

Obama and Dodd win the slam AIG hypocrisy award. They ALL need to give back the contributions.
Man, look at that list! Why is Mitt Romney listed as President? and Barack listed as “Senate?”

Obama? Obama...hmmm...where have I seen that name before?
Well, I know he doesn't represent me, so I can't tell if he's in elected office or not...but the name sure is familiar....

"AIG's Small London Office May Have Lost $500B"
Ground zero for AIG's spectacular implosion, which has soaked up more federal bailout money
than any other entity, appears to have been a small London branch office
that may have lost nearly half a trillion dollars in bad deals."

"Sen. Dodd has been rewarded in the 2008 election cycle with $7.65 million in campaign contributions
he took in $11.7 million in all from the securities, insurance, real-estate and commercial-banking industries...

With $165,400, Sen. Dodd also tops the list of members of Congress who took campaign cash from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac since 1989.
Sen. Barack Obama, the self-styled agent of change, is a distant second at $126,000...."

Looks like 6 republicans and 14 dems on the list. Are any of the republicans actually conservative? McCain, Giuliani, Sununu, Romney certainly are not. How about Corker and Smith...anybody know?

This lists the office that each was running for, i.e. John McCain, Mitt Romney, Rudolph Guiliani, etc. It does NOT list Joe Biden in the list nor any of the other wannabes of ‘08 but DOES show Bob (Show me the money) Corker.

I know that Biden did get that money.
I should have more correctly stated that it did NOT list him as a Pres candidate but chose instead to list him as Senator but did list the other Pres candidates who received the "contributions"
