The Libertarians wanted/ have moved to N.H. without much luck except for making annoyances of themselves about legalizing weed.

This guy talks in circles. He says that the world would be dominated by China because of their nuclear arsenal, then goes on to say that they would invade the US and take over the west coast. Last check we have a lot more nukes then they (the Chinese) do. His logic doesn't check out. As for Russia bagging Alaska, same problem. Unless Alaska wants to become part of Russia, and it doesn't, then it isn't going to.

Now the US may break up into 3-4 independent nations for the reasons given, but the only part of the US that might end up as part of another country is California, that may end up going back to Mexico. Again, because if CW II causes the Anglos to flee, the majority of people in the region will want to be part of Mexico. And a large part of the rest of the country will want them, and their massive debts, San Francisco liberals, and Environuts to go away. After all if Mexico takes back California we get rid of Arnold and Nancy right away, and Obama can't win the White House without California's electoral votes.

He’s 100% correct. The divide is too great. It has progressed to 2 sides that hate each other. Politicians pitted us against each other. The cultural divide it too great. We aren’t all a team of Americans any longer. The end result can’t be good.

I don’t know, strategically, northern NH isn’t a bad choice, it’s close to the Canadian Border (and no chance of them invading, and it’s far enough away from any major sea ports, so if they invade through Maine you’ll have a heads up.

Plus with it’s natural layout and plenty of farm land I think it’s actually one of the better choices, considering that it’s a not a militarily strategic target it would be a great place to attack it would give people plenty of time to organize and put up some defenses.

That’s just my opinion.

This the most pessimistic view, but there is still a huge problem. Americans may disagree mightily over politics. But for most Americans politics does not rule our lives. We all have friends and family that are just about every political stripe around.

Russia wouldn’t wind up on top of the heap like they think. They’re population is imploding with no hope of reversing it. In fact I could see a Russo-Chinese war starting shortly after the US civil war commences. With the Russians losing, and the Chinese unable to make any use of their gains.

China lacks the necessary infrastructure to make itself a power with global reach, and would need a long time to fix that. China also has internal problems that will destroy it, with no one like the US around.

I don’t know if we will end up in Civil War or not, though I hope not. But this Russian is engaging in mental masturbation and that’s all he is doing.

LOL! Sounds good to me. I don’t really consider CA part of the US anyway. It’s that state alone that has mainly generated the cultural divide we have now.

Strategically maybe, If you don't mind snow. Coming from Alabama, with some of the lowest overall state taxes, I'll stay here and not worry about freezing. I think the south will be one of those break aways than can sustain itself. There is a reason you never hear of anyone retiring to the north :-) Good luck.

Somehow, and IMHO, I don’t think Europe and Japan would remain weak if the US ceased to exist. I think they would rise from their slumber and lay down a massive a$$ whoppin on everyone within twenty years. It would be like letting lions out of the zoo. They would get very hungry and very independent very quickly.
