1984 for real this time?

Was George only wrong on the year? Does anyone else feel like they have stepped into a George Orwell novel? For months after the election Obama’s face was everywhere; I felt like “Big Brother” was watching me. Early into the administration Big Brother told us all that he was open to any ideas to fix the economy, even from Republicans. When a Republican suggested tax cuts he was immediately cut off with, “I’m going to trump you; I won, - we aren’t going to do that”. The Ministry of Truth didn’t see any disconnect.

Big Brother campaigned on not following the failed policies of the past, yet to fix the economy he is using only the failed policies that gave us the great depression and is ignoring polices that have worked more recently (ie. Tax cuts). Minitrue didn’t see any disconnect In an amazing example of “Double Think”, Big Brother signed the biggest deficit spending bill in human history. The next day he talked about how he would be fiscally responsible and institute “paygo”. Days latter he proposed even more deficit spending. Minitrue didn’t see any disconnect. Recently Big Brother stated that he wasn’t going to be worried about the “day to day gyrations” in the stock market. These “gyrations” have cost Americans almost half their wealth in less than six months. Minitrue didn’t see any disconnect. We now seem to be in the early stages of the“2 minute hate” with the face of Rush replacing that of Goldstein. Is it too late to hope for change?

Yes, for many years now. But I'm just a kooky loserdopian who only wants freedom so I can do drugs, and I shouldn't be worried about Orwellian government unless I'm doing something wrong. At least that's what I've been told.

The 2010 elections could very well be one of the most consequential elections in history.

I would not bet .10 cents on Hussein Øbama The Magnificent to do anything that does not promote communism.

That’s what they said about the 2000 election. And then again the 2004 election.

A little more explanation? For years now? I won’t attack if you say Bush caused that. As I go through the day reading about Obama’s next action and scared to death for my children’s future, I also remember those during the Bush years who told me they could not stomach Bush and they refused to watch listen to him.

I wonder if those same people had the feelings I have now. Mind you the two most outspoken do not follow politics other than MSM and I also wondered if that is why they felt that way. A conversation with them is, did you know, have you read and their response, I don’t have time for all of that.

I don’t remember that being said then - and I pay attention.

Even so, it wouldn’t have been true. Either Gore or Kerry would have been met with a Republican congress that would have opposed them.

If there is an election in 2010 it will be a sham election like they have in places like Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and Fidel’s Cuba. The last election was pretty much a sham too because of the liberal/communist media. IMHO anyway.

For a different perspective, watch this. It's long, but worth it.

For months after the election Obama’s face was everywhere

I was on my way home from the bay area and I stopped into a HomeGoods store. At the front door, life size framed pictures of Obama. Two different styles to choose from. I have never seen so much retail marketing of a President ever.

So you expect the Democrats to win with 94% of the vote and the result will be met with celebration and adulation?

No. I expect it will be a close margin. Just enough to win. What will be there to stop them? The judges? Congress? The president? The watch dog media?

Not just your opinion. I see voter fraud, campaign finance fraud and MSM socialism.

Everyone should read Devvy’s articles on voter fraud and how votes can be changed with a mere cell phone. There are a few articles and the links in them are just as important.

That’s why we must have a plan. We have to make sure those who voted for Obama and he screwed them, come to the light.

100 million gun owners is a good start.

Don’t remember. I wasn’t concerned with the overall health of the Republic back then, I just despised Gore and Kerry. I regarded them as left-wing, elitist buffoons. I didn’t regard them as truly dangerous, as I do Obama.
