We’ve had Comcast for a few years, after our apartment complex switched from another local cable company. We went from the Basic tier for that company to the Basic tier for Comcast, losing MSNBC in the process (but we still had Fox news). MSNBC was only available on a higher tier. When we recently got our digital converter boxes, we got MSNBC back. It is now channel 120, which was previously “snow” or a black screen with the “not authorized” message.

Okay, my mistake. The Comcast line-up info sucks.

• With 'Standard Cable' - MSNBC is included.
• With 'Basic Cable' - NO MSNBC
• With 'Digital Starter' - MSNBC is included.

And as it just so happens, I just got my new Comcast cable bill and I'm looking at what I'm paying for. I can't even figure it out!.

I'm going to have to dig into this and see what the heck is going on?
