[Watch incredible video highlighting contrast]
This is a remarkable video. It clearly demonstrates the difference in how two presidents are greeted by the United States Marines.
The jarheads greeting for President Bush is deafening. The greeting for President Obama is, well, polite.
Semper fi, indeed.

Those are men, more mature than the individual speaking at them, not kids.
Say what you want about Bush, but he was a helluva Commander-In-Chief.
Actually there are no Marines clapping at all, the only applause is from local families invited to attend.
Yes, they’re men, and women. I am a lot older than they are, old enough to be their mother, and to me they’re “kids” to me in that sense. Sorry that you took offense, but when I’m gathered with some of them at my nephews, it’s a term of endearment from an “old” woman. When I hear of one of those young men or women dying for MY freedom, they’re kids in the kindest use of the word; used by a mother who grieves for their families. So, my use of the word “kid” was not one of disrespect. As for not capitalizing the “m” in Marines, well, as they say...my bad.
