Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today essentially dodging a question by CBS News' Chip Reid on why the Recovery.gov website only shows the Stimulus Money spending path down the chain so far, but not all the way to where it is actually spent. Gibbs actually responds that he has not "googled quite that far on recovery.gov" to know how far it goes! Why would the White House Press Secretary need to "google" it to find an answer to that question? Recovery.gov is their website! He knows they do not intend to show in detail all the way to the actual location and "by whom" the money is spent because they don't want the American people to see how much money is spent by ACORN and other Democratic Party and Far-Left groups. . . . . Well, at least he didn’t say that he doesn’t know the number of the website as Joe “Clueless” Biden did. What a ship of fools.
"Googled that far" is every bit as bad as "number of the website", even if it sounds a little more hip. "Googling" means to search the net for sites referencing a topic. What he means is that he hasn't visited the site, in the same sense and with the same degree of certainty that he hasn't visited the Andromeda Nebula.
The average web addict, taking myself as representative, can absorb the gist of recovery.gov in about 30 seconds. ... They changed it, BTW. It used to have those colored balls, which I guess they decided were too complicated, as they now have a pie chart divided into two pieces - state and local.
