Fidel laments that the Cuban linux variant is named "Nova," but believe it or not, there's an even bigger mistake in the computer world. NOTE: The author of this comic requests that you visit his web site and please refrain from copying the cartoon in this thread. Thanks!

What is so horrible about vista on modern hardware? My experience with Vista and 2k8 has been very good even at 100% load.

“What is so horrible about vista on modern hardware?”

I’ll list just a few horrible things:
1) Microsoft’s arrogance and monoplistic behaviors
2) Redesigned interface.
3) Built-in spyware phones “home” and may stop running if I reconfigure the hardware.
4) Digital Rights Management
5) No support for Novell Netware clients
6) No DOS emulation as in XP
7) Too many versions
8) Overpriced
9) Not as secure as other operating systems

Your points on the Vista POS are valid, and I’m happy to say that I am a devout Mac user. I enjoy far greater stability, great customer support, superior hardware and a company dedicated to being industry innovators.

Thanks for the kind words about the toon too! Freepers are a bunch of great people unlike those losers on reddit.com!
