Thanks for the link. I'm not familiar with Piper, but I appreciate his thoughtful comments. As for mention of Y2K preparations, if I remember correctly, there was a lot of advice from various governmental agencies. Weren't there a lot of denials for vacation requests for federal, state & local law enforcement personnel due to uncertainty about what Y2K would bring?
It wasn't just the "conspiracy theorists" who were concerned about Y2K.
