Just last night we sat down and had a discussion about the family budget. Never before have we been in the hole but somehow we fell into it and it’s getting deeper and deeper. We rarely “got” to go out or do any entertaining so it’s a matter of taking frugal to the next level. There will be no spending. We’ll be eating from the pantry and freezer which are, thankfully, well stocked.

Sean Hannity was lamenting about the $100 per pound imported Japanese beef that was on the menu of one of these White House parties. Isn't it questionable that the White House would serve beef from Japan when the Japanese were rather recently refusing to buy American beef because of the mad-cow nonsense?

Also, I wonder how the American Cattlemen’s Association feels about the choice of imported beef. Wasn't one of the pillars of Zero's stimulus plan about buying American? While campaigning wasn't he wailing about punishing through taxation any American corporation that exported jobs to other countries?
