As if your blood isn't already boiling. Consider this report that charges that the Obama administration is living the high life on your tax dollar.

An organization that serves as a watchdog on the U.S. government for American taxpayers has launched a campaign to uncover exactly how much tax money is being spent on parties at the Obama White House.
Klayman said the reports of the partying at the White House, "with the likes of Steve Wonder and other high priced entertainment stars," will be the focus of document requests being submitted to the General Services Administration.
The requests will seek to determine how much taxpayer money is being used.
"Barack and Michelle Obama have been throwing taxpayer funded parties nearly every night with their 'friends' and supporters, with Michelle Obama even exhorting them not to 'break' White House property," Klayman's announcement said.
According to an ABC report, many of the parties have been on Wednesdays, and the report confirmed one featured a Stevie Wonder concert.
"This is a pretty big house, so we get lonely," the report said Obama announced. "It's hard for me to move around out there some times so I got to bring the world to me." Published reports said the Jonas Brothers were on hand in the White House for a special event for the Obama daughters, Sasha and Malia, on inauguration night.
Dinners have featured lavish menus including "Celery Soup, Wild Mushroom Crisps, Steelhead Salmon with Citrus sauce, Crispy Spinach, Toasted Saffron Couscous Pearls, Baby Iceberg lettuce with Maytag Bleu Cheese and Yogurt ranch dressing and for dessert, Milk Chocolate velvet cake" – all served on gold-rimmed china.

Yes, we shoul ignore lavish weekly parties while the country goes down the tubes. Okay.
Also, I wonder how the American Cattlemen’s Association feels about the choice of imported beef. Wasn't one of the pillars of Zero's stimulus plan about buying American? While campaigning wasn't he wailing about punishing through taxation any American corporation that exported jobs to other countries?

It isn't petty when this administration is so keen on symbolism over substance. It isn't so petty when the Speaker of the House has her own 737 to fly home to CA on weekends, and then crucifies corporate executives for doing likewise on stockholder money and not taxpayer dollars.
It isn't so petty when Zero laments about poor people being thrown out of their homes by evil lenders living lavish life styles. It isn't petty when the Dow has fallen 3000 points since Zero was elected and he thinks that it is a poll instead of a true measure of the wealth lost by highly responsible Americans through no fault of their own. All they did was get up and go to work every day and try to put aside some of their earnings so as not to be a burden to their children and our government in their retirement years.
Petty isn't going to sell in Peoria.

There is a distinction you could make with some past presidents. Not all of them took my money to pay for their own peculiar social agenda and then partied it up.
No kidding. I ain’t the one running around saying it patriotic to pay taxes. And I ain’t the one stealing other people’s money.
There's a whole host of really bad stuff to complain about, and try to keep in front of the public eye. Having some over the top dinner parties in the White House is way down that list, I think. And, I stand by my statement. It makes us look petty to any newbies reading FR for the first time--and for any liberals who watch us so that they can publicize part of a post for no other reason than to make us look bad.
And that--y'all will be pleased to hear, is my absolute final word on the subject.
Obama-hypocrite has the nerve to dump on Execs who take TARP money and then throw parties. Well, guess what, Obama is throwing parties on the taxpayer’s dime as well. He is a typical Democrat, but with the extension of using class warfare. BTW, where is his mandate to turn this into a socialist country?
