The Democrats' conspiracy to demonize Rush Limbaugh, directed from the Obama White House, has the talk radio icon laughing all the way to the bank.
Todays U.S. News Political Bulletin reports Rush Limbaugh is a clear winner this week:
His ratings have nearly doubled since his feud with the White House burst into the media limelight.
Byron York asked Rush about the effect the Democrats' plot has had on Rush's business:
The latest numbers I have are for January, well before this kerfuffle began, and they are through the roof -- six shares in NY, for example. There are daily ratings taken now in about the top 15 markets but I have not seen them yet. All I can tell you is that as of January, we booked 80 percent of all our 2008 revenue and we'll be over 2008 by the end of this month.
According to Talkers Magazine, since the Democrats' conspiracy was put in motion, Rush's audience has grown from 14 million to 25 million.
In the following video, Chris Matthews calls the plot a great stimulus program:

Hells Bells! The way HUSSEIN is destroying AMERICA! Everybody will be listening to RUSH by EASTER SUNDAY!
John Kerry died and was being taken on a tour of Heaven before St. Peter was required to dispatch the Gigolo to HELL forever! They came to this Great Room with a Huge Solid Gold Throne and above it in Neon Lights was the name, “Rush Limbaugh!” Kerry said to St Peter, “I thought You told me Limbaugh wasn’t here yet?” St. Peter looked at Kerry and said, “No! He isn’t and this is GOD’S THRONE anyway! He just thinks HE is RUSH!” Right On!

...from what I gather, 15 min.(Quarters) / millions people. per day
Also, I thought Limbaugh was consistently at 20 mil listeners a week, not the 14 mil Talkers is saying. Those arbitron ratings are still a mystery to me with their methodology. You'd think there would be a better way than diaries.
Good point. Obama voters cannot be Christian. True.
This is going to be fun to watch.
bttt
This is why he didn’t fight for McCain.
Absolutely. I mean, we know that Rush preaches to the choir most of the time. He gets some “converts” as it is, but this is the equivalent of a cattle drive, head ‘em up, ride ‘em in!
Just tell people NOT to listen to something and wait and see what they do...
My, aren’t we cynical. I do not agree with you, sirrah.
WOO HOO!!!
Rush is ON FIRE!
This lady loves Rush.
Are you in Baghdad?
I'm home on a break. :)
It warms my heart endlessly thinking that Rush is PERSONALLY stealing media ratings from the NY Times.
I knew you worked in Baghdad. I just didn’t know where you were now. Do you get to come home often?
If the Republicans had nominated a conservative, I'm sure Mr. Limbaugh would've been behind him or her 100%. As it was, Senator Mccain was only slightly less a squish than Senator Obama. I seem to recall Rush pumping up the volume somewhat after Governor Sarah Palin was announced as Sen. McCain's running mate, but VPs don't win presidential elections, do they? We need to work to close the loophole wherein some states allow Democrats and Independents to vote in the GOP primaries. That is why we were saddled with Sen. McCain!!
I love that tie. I wish he still sold his ties.
I come home a couple of times a year. I’ll be headed back to Iraq ‘round the first of April.
