Rush Limbaugh Wraps Up CPAC
Conservative Brawler ^ | February 28, 2009 | Conservative Brawler

Posted on 02/28/2009 9:14:29 PM PST by Seth_Stuck

This is Rush Limbaugh's speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC. It's no wonder the liberals have gone after Rush Limbaugh so vociferously in recent weeks. They need to silence him before the Obama sheeple start listening, truly listening, and snap out of their apathetic trance. Conservatives need more icons like Rush to champion their beliefs and values. The 2008 election would have been dramatically different had McCain possessed 1/10th of the passion and clarity of Rush Limbaugh.

This speech is truly stirring.

Included is the transcript and a downloadable version of the speech. Also included are the embedded youtube clips of the entire speech.

Anybody know where I can download (not stream) a video of his speech? And Ann’s, for that matter?

I want them on my iPhone!

I heard some of this speech and boy was he awesome - I wish he would run for President - we NEED a clear voice in this madness and Rush is exactly SPOT ON about conservative values and where we need to be headed as a team!

The whole thing was carried live on Fox, making Rush’s first national address to the nation a great event!

He loved saying “my first national address”... don’t you know it fried Obama that Fox, CNN and cSPAN all carried it and the latter carried it commercial free.

Try here: Rush's First Televised Address to the Nation: Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Speech

When you click on the link to watch "part 1 or 2" it gives you an option to save the file.

God bless him.

He is the voice of conservatism.

And as he points out, WITHOUT TELEPROMPTERS!

You go, Rush!

Thanks for posting the transcript. Snow storm on the way. Will have nice reading for me and my 3 year old granddaughter. Can never start too young these day.

She can say, “Obama is a duffus.” Hey, she could be our next Mark Levin.

"When you click on the link to watch 'part 1 or 2' it gives you an option to save the file."

Not on the machine I'm currently using (WinXP/Firefox 3). It opens Windows Media Player. Right-clicking on the link and saving the target merely saves a small (193-byte) .asx file. Maybe I should try it on my Mac...

Any other ideas? I'm hoping Rush's podcast wizards take care of it... that would ensure format compatibility.

What’s funny is, I honestly believe this to be true, is that I seriously think if i put my mind in McCain’s body I could have won the election. I’m not complimenting myself, I’m criticizing McCain.

How could all these paid consultants run such an idiotic campaign?

All he had to do was focus on these issues:

1) Jeremiah Wright
2) William Ayers
3) #1 Liberal in the Senate
4) Socialism

Some surrogates did, but McCain himself let these four big issue go to waste.

Limbaugh/Palin - 2012

That would not only be a winning ticket, but it would drive the left even more batty.

Could you see Rush just shredding that empty suit Obama in a debate?

Bambi wouldn’t debate him. He would think up a million reasons not to.

If you play the video in Firefox, it will appear as a file in your cache folder. Once the video finishes, you ought to be able to copy the file from the cache folder to some other location and rename it as you see fit. If that doesn’t work, try installing the Downloadhelper Firefox extension (add-on). That will download the video for you (you might have to experiment with the extension a bit)...
