Senator Jim DeMints amendment to kill the Fairness Doctrine was pretty straightforward.
But an aide to DeMint said Senator Dick Durbins amendment requiring diversity in radio ownership will impose the Fairness Doctrine through the back door by trying to break up radio ownership.

You know this article is terrible. They don’t mention the name of the bill, or print anything regarding what was in it. Or when it was defeated, if I read this correctly.
What was it Durbin was proposing to pass?
