Looks like it's Amateur Night in the United States Senate. Apparently a bunch of third graders who cannot read the English language voted in the Senate to give the District of Columbia a vote in the House of Representatives, in direct contravention of the United States Constitution.

Since when did the Democrats honor the Constitution? To the Dems, in the words of their party’s leader, the Constitution is fundamentally flawed and thus is subject to whatever application the Dems want to place on it as a “living” document.

In 1978, Congress passed a proposed constitutional amendment to give DC congressional representation.

The amendment wasn’t ratified by enough states so it didn’t take effect.

In 1978, the Democrats at that time understood that it took a constitutional amendment to accomplish the goal of congressional representation for DC. Now, in 2009, Democrats think that a regular statute law is enough to accomplish this.

Nothing has changed in the legal status of DC as a federal district since 1978.

If this required a constitutional amendment in 1978, it still requires a constitutional amendment in 2009.

Nobody cares about the highest law of the land. The living Constitution has made it dead.

The Constitution was rendered null and void on January 20, 2009 when an unconstitutional usurper was permitted to take occupancy of the white house. The commies can now do whatever the hell they want with not so much as a whimper from the ruling class or the proletariat.

white house??? Is that now considered racist?
