Kinda sucks because Obama is considered such a great politician because he can read from a teleprompter.

Jindal would crush him in most other forums. I remember listening to Jindal give a pre-hurricane briefing and instead of saying "please evacuate, and here is my emergency management team," he briefed the whole thing. Quite impressive.

As far as tonight goes, it sounded too much like a speech and not enough like Jindal. Americans shouldn't care where a Republican comes from, they will figure that out on their own. He should have stuck to his main message; believe in the United State, not the United States Government. I have been going nuts waiting for somebody in the GOP to say this for months now. That is the message.

That was my impression too. The whole thing was badly staged.

Let Jindal be Jindal. He will connect with the American people if they aren't distracted by a poor attempt at grand production and an ill-advised presentation.
