One person introducing a resolution that will be crushed in the legislature is hardly a civil war.

This kind of sentiment is inevitable, given what’s happening in Washington.
Get ready for turbulence.

Fantastic! A shot across the bow if you will.
Will it be effective?
Time will tell. It certainly may encourage other states to step up and make their voice heard.
As the Constitution provides.

They “introduced” it, but has it PASSED???
THAT would be a milestone. Right now, it’s just talk.

Ask South Carolina how that nullification thing worked for them back in 1832.

What if a person being procecuted under one of these “unconstitutiona” federal laws was to make that very argument.
What would be the counter argument?

I would LOVE to see the Tennessee General Assembly declare the federal laws not specifically enumerated to the federal government to be void and unenforceable in Tennessee.

Question I have is this: The Constitution is constantly interpreted by the Supreme Court, and thereby defines just what the Constitution means, so does NH purport to not recognize the SC? Probably of greater importance is money. The Feds can and do raise tremendous sums of taxpayer money, fees, etc and NH can only tax it's small population to raise capital. Hard to see how NH can gain any influence under those circumstances.

Too bad New Hampster is almost as liberal as MA these days. This won’t see the light of day after today.

Our states probably took the lessons of 1861-1865 to heart. Still, a courageous first move coming out of New England, imo.

President Barack Obama is no President Andrew Jackson, I assure you!! No doubt about that, so whether he packs a pair that would let him stand up to New Hampshire like Jackson stood up to South Carolina is highly debatable.
