The first thing Buchanan should have said was that America does not have a tradition of "democracy," we have a tradition of a "republic."

That America is a democracy is one of the big lies that has become so commonplace that most Americans have come to believe it.

Secondly he should have called Dyson down for trying to talk over him. How can you have a dialogue if you won't let the other person speak.

Of course Dyson isn't interested in a dialogue about race, nor is Holder. They are interested in dictating behavior to us.

Like Ann Coulter has said, they want to play the "victim" card so that they can silence any oppostion...like Sharpton today in his reaction to the New York Post cartoon.

We are not a nation of cowards. However, when every conversation that is broached descends into something very similar to Prof. Dyson’s tired polemic about what white people did to blacks 50, 100 and 300 years ago it’s a yawner. Holder wants us to speak openly and honestly about race in America. However, if whites use the words “brother” “Lakisha” or even “You people” (like Ross Perot did), the conversation gets hijacked into the “your a racist screed”. Why bother?

It’s all risk for whites and all upside for blacks. Who wants to sit down at a table in that casino?

After all Dyson's red herrings and strawman whinings, Buchanan ate his lunch, demanding Dyson and the black community take responsibility for their OWN high-illegitimacy rate, astronomical black-on-white crime, and their own criminality.
