What if that woman is rich and capable of taking excellent care of all of those babies, perhaps she is in excellent health and the babies are too? What is the ‘bad’ thing in your statement? Her age? The 4 babies? Who’s to say that she underwent IVF and only had 2 embryos transferred and they both split?

(Speaking as a 47 year old IVF patient who just had twins last July)

The woman was 49 and it is 5 babies. The doctor implanted 7 in her... Twins is one thing, 5 at age 49 is another. A local woman — who is young and in excellent health had quads last year and nearly died in delivery... it has to do with the volumn of blood required to nourish that many babies and how it affects the body when they deliver... oh, and this 49 year old woman pregnant with quads is now a resident for the next three months of County USC Medical Center and Medi-Cal insurance.
