“Class will tell.” - Dad
I thought Gregg showed a great deal of class as he recused himself. I wouldn’t expect Obama to return the favor.
I thought that I read yesterday that 0 was calling upon us to do as Lincoln did (was that volunteer or act with dignity?)
Wonder what 0 will have to say upon Washington’s birthday?
(honesty, not telling lies or throwing dollars across a river/away - that would be early sharing the wealth)?
Am I the only one who finds it amusing that Barack “Trust my judgment” Obama has screwed the pooch twice now on picking a Commerce Secretary?
Of course, he’s applying that same level of judgment to the economy, foreign policy, and national security, so maybe “amusing” isn’t the right word to use at all.... :(
Arrogance also comes to mind, as does self-conceit, as does Nero
Gregg WOKE up in Time to SAVE HIMSELF... unlike the 3 STOOGES... CSS!
How is this a shot at Gregg?
It seems like it could just as easily be a shot at his own botched attempts to find a nominee — i.e. “by the time this is through, everyone will have gotten the call to be commerce secretary”.
Yeah, Barry, I think we can be pretty sure that Lincoln (died: 1865) didn't wonder even once whether anyone would call him up on the telephone (invented: 1876) to ask him to run the Commerce Department (founded: 1903).
I have never seen such a trite person. This person will go down in history so badly that It will never be written in history books. Only the elders from time forward will recite this era to our future generations around the community fire while eating wild dog.
Stay classy, “Mr. President”.
Ol’ Glass Jaw whines again...
