(Here is video) from last night where Bill O'Reilly did his impression of longtime White House Reporter Helen Thomas and called her "the wicked witch of the east." Actually, for the sake of accuracy, in the Wizard of Oz, the "Witch of the East" was a good witch, and the evil witch was the "Wicked Witch of the West."
O'Reilly mocked Thomas because of the question she asked Obama during last night's press conference. Thomas asked Obama a two-part question, asking if "so-called" terrorists were in the mountainous region of Pakistan along the Afghan border, and then also asking if any Middle Eastern nations had nuclear weapons. Thomas was trying to get Obama to say that Israel had nuclear weapons, thereby in her warped thinking, justifying why it should be fine for Iran to have Nuclear Weapons. Obama refused to take the bait. Below is video of the actual question asked by Thomas . . . . . (Watch Video)

I guess this means Helen doesn't know Pakistan has nuclear weapons, huh?
I thought the good witch was Glinda, the witch from the North.
O’Reilly doesn’t seem to be much of a Helen Thomas fan.
THIS THREAD DOES NOT NEED PICTURES! NORMAL FR RULES DO NOT APPLY!
Yea this guys full of crap. The wicked witch of the East was the one Dorothy’s house landed on. The WW of the West was the villainess in the movie and Glinda was indeed the good witch of the North.
LOL!!!
Actually, she wasn't. (Memo to Freedom's Lighthouse -- get a competent editor).
It’s been a long time since I’ve read L. Frank Baum’s opus, but I believe the shamaness from the South was also a good witch.
Can there be a Helen Thomas exception to the rules?
Helen Thomas put the ugh in ugly.
In the movie, the one from East was the one that was killed, and the one from the West was the remaining villain. The good witch was from the North. In the novel, there was also a good witch from the South.
Helen Thomas = Wicked Witch of the Left
Glinda is the Good Witch of the South in the book—she is a beautiful, fairy-like young woman. I don’t think the Good Witch of the North has a name, but she’s shown as an old woman.

You’ve probably heard this one too —

I thought it was great. O’Reilly had some feminazi on tonight and he questioned her on their hypocrocy on this issue since they did not like what O’Reilly said about Thomas yet there was not one peep from these people when Sarah Palin was trashed during the past election season. Of course Dennis Miller singing for Helen Thomas stole the show. LOL!
Leni
O’Reilly, however right he may be, sometimes lets his hyperbole get ahead of him. Though it’s a bit distasteful to go into the dens of these people, she did call out what she saw as “sexism” against Gov. Palin. At least when it wasn’t her side doing it:

Wicked Troll of the East is probably more accurate.
