“I have people in their late 60’s and 70’s working for me...and they run CIRCLES around me some days while I’m at 49 and holding!”

You are 1 of a very few that hire older people....thank you.

You’re welcome! If they have the skill set I need, and can still lift 50 lbs., are pleasant to be around and are great with the customers...no problem.

There are plenty of healthy people out there in their 60’s and 70’s, no matter WHAT the youth-obsessed media tells us. My Mom is 72; you should see what she accomplishes in a day!

My best decor person for the store is a STUNNING 60 year old who is beautiful inside and out. You’d leave your wife and kids just to carry her purse for 10 minutes, LOL! (Not that I approve of that behavior!!)

Seniors give you excellent value for your business dollar. They show up on time and SOBER for work. Can’t say the same for a lot of our 20-somethings. They have NO clue what their part is in running a business (though they are well trained!) and they just can’t compete with seasoning and skill and Real Life experiences.

We hire a lot of local, retired Farm Guys and Farm Gals. Can’t beat them for a stellar Work Ethic. :)

And let me add this, and then I’ll shut up:

If you’ve managed a farm for the majority of your adult life and have raised a half-dozen kids simultaneously...there is no doubt in my military mind that you can multi-task, LOL!
