Dollars for Toomey
The GOP Wilderness ^ | February 9, 2009 | The GOP Willderness

Arlen Specter is once again proving to the world that he is nothing more than a Democrat in RINO colors. With him signing on to the 2009 socialist manifesto, Specter's days in the U.S. Senate must (finally) come to an end. For this, we suggest turning to Pat Toomey, who in 2004 almost beat Specter in the Pennsylvania primary, if it weren't for a last minute plea by then-President George W. Bush, which propeled Pennsylvania's senior senator to a fourth six-year term. Toomey - who gave up his U.S. House seat in 2004 to run against Specter - is currently the head of Club for Growth and we suggest all of our readers to visit the organization's site and let Toomey know that this nation needs him in the U.S. Senate.

I received an email from the Club for Growth stating that it was unlikely Pat would be running for the Senate. Maybe Rick Santorum will come back?
