since you can’t explain how it could possibly apply

Perhaps the reason that advertisements in support of a religion could raise a First Amendment issue is that the advertisements are being displayed on the property of a governmental monopoly. I don't think they necessarily do in this case, but I can see closely related fact situations where I wouldn't be surprised at all if some parties sued on the basis of the establishment clause.

For example, if an evangelical Christian group bought out the subway advertising space and filled it with advertisements exhorting members of other religions to convert to Christianity, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a lawsuit claiming that constituted a violation of the establishment clause.

And you don’t know the First Amendment either. This is why the country is going down the tubes.

Wow, I haven’t seen those images in some time. I think many folks think those days are behind us. They’ve forgotten and they’ve moved on, inspired by some daffy bastard promising something for nothing.

I know what it says. I’m a lawyer. I also know that there are Supreme Court cases saying that you can’t place religious messages on public property. There are a few exceptions, mainly where the government is engaged in a business, and is simply accomodating religion in the same way that they accomodate everyone else.

You’re a lawyer and you don’t even know the First Amendment! LOL! You sound like a libtard trying to make the case against freedom of religion. Take it to DUmmies.
