Katrina? Is it wrong that the Democrat Governor of Louisiana had to officially request the President to declare a federal state of emergency and invite federal assistance and she did not?
Iraq? The Democrats and the media aided and abetted the enemy in Iraq giving them the heart to fight when they saw how successfully they were manipulating the American public’s opinion of the war. American military dead may be attributated to those who opposed defeating America’s enemies and promoted American military defeat, you know, traitors. Iraq was one of the most successfully military operations in American history, Watching the Democrats and the media cheer at the approach of 1000 American dead sickened me. Now they are in command.
“Iraq was one of the most successfully military operations in American history...”
Of course it was! But I think it’s inarguable that Bush bungled the post-invasion. It wasn’t until he changed Generals and the surge occurred that things began to look rosy. Before that, we were just sitting around day after day as the media gleefully reported the daily American casualties - and Bush sat on his hands.
As for Katrina - I fully realize that it was up to the RAT Governor of Louisiana to request the Feds come in. Instead of yukking it up at a post-Hurricane party, however, Bush could have gotten on TV, pointed that little fact out to the American people and pressured the disgusting RAT into actually performing her duty. He didn’t, and the Feds ( -> His Administration -> Republicans -> us) came out looking like incompetent.
