True. Very true. That was my reaction. He is still in campaign mode. I think that it is all he really knows, because he has no track record of leadership. He has always been a follower who served at the leisure of others. His political experience consists largely of hustling poor, nearly illiterate people in Chicago.
I call it the arrogance of inexperience. He’s never felt the sting of defeat because he’s never really done anything.
Now he’s in a stand or fall position and he’s working without a net.
Obama felt he was ready for the White House because he went door to door and told people he was there to help them. Of course, everyone he met in that capacity told him how wonderful he was. He was praised for having gone to Harvard and for being “clean and articulate”.
What he DIDN’T have to do was tell people to their faces that they should get up and live their lives. He DIDN’T have to make budgets and explain to people why they could be handed everything they wanted just because they really wanted it.
I wish I could have said this to every person who voted for this guy: The man has never managed a 7-11, and you want him to run the world’s biggest economy AND biggest military?
Unfortunately most of his loony fans would have said “So what” or “Well those guys in Washington have experience, so maybe we need LESS of that.”
Then again, many of his supporters who were lauded by the MSM didn’t buy his bull for a minute, and are sitting around waiting for their checks. They have no idea the source of these “checks” they just want to get paid. That’s all, nothing less, nothing more.
My theory is that the more people see him, day after day, the more people dislike him.
This is the opposite of President Bush, who was likable and able to garner support, which is why the networks quit carrying his appearances.
