But they have defended the handling of such sensitive and important legislation by only an exclusive group of leadership and senior lawmakers as a necessary tactic during exceptional times. . I guess having huge majorities in both houses and having the White House at the same time is pretty heady stuff.
The top leadership simply can not resist the opportunity to Really Run Things
These are exceptional times.

Ironic, isn’t it...these Dems must feel a twinge of guilt for talking the bribes and grease they do when someone else is apparnently doing all the work.

As someone who actually fell for the PUMA gag the Dems pulled on us just before the election, I will NOT be fooled again.
That party sticks together, no matter what.
I don’t know what the agenda is behind this particular story, but you can be sure that this is TOTAL BS.
Always remember, Dems stick together no matter what.

A group of more than 50 House Democrats has penned a letter to Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) imploring him to restore this institution and see that the House returns to a regular order process of legislating.
Well.....good luck to the rebels. But Nancy sets the agenda; a stifling trifle.

Don’t know if anyone is listening to the Gibbs press briefing. We are in big trouble, folks. These people are totally incompetent.
SCOTUS needs to check this Birth Certificate question in order to save us.

A rebellion has begun to brew among moderates in Pelosis caucus that wants a return to regular order, in which the committees return to their normal process of crafting and modifying legislation instead of a select group of elites ramming it down their throats. If only a "select group of elites" is responsible for legislation, then only the elites need to be paid off in order to influence the legislation. This bothers the regular Congressmen who are thus shut out of the graft process. This pleases the graft providers, since they have fewer people they need to bribe.

This could be the fastest implosion after a victorious election in history. Obama’s reeling, Cabinet nominees are withdrawing, the “stimulus” is a joke and has fallen below 40% support, Congress is coming apart at the seams, Rush and Hannity are forming a formidible Republican resistance, and even Peggy Noonan is getting tired of the Obama hype.
Ha!
