Worshipping Obama

Religious Left icon Jim Wallis of Sojourners sees Obama’s ascension almost eschatologically.

“My prayers for decades have been answered in this minute,” Wallis breathlessly told The Washington Times after the inauguration, boasting of his friendship with Obama for years. “We’ve been talking faith and politics for a long time.”

No doubt. Wallis, an old Religious Left activist of more than 40 years, is like aged Simeon in the Bible, whom the Holy Spirit had promised would not see death until the Lord’s Messiah had arrived. When the child Jesus was brought to the temple in Jerusalem, the on looking Simeon knew his life had been fulfilled: “Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace.”

You have a lovely way with words. Notice these people fail to mention the sins of abortion or homosexuality!!!!!!!!!! We are all responsible for our brother not the government. For some people especially all the millionaire hollywood elite’s and all their liberal ways could do miracles on poverty and homelessness that they all think the government should do.The money spent on award shows and the clothes could feed thousands of people,they could start sacrificing beginning with the Oscars,that could feed thousands of families. Nobody watches them anyway. We need a chart of the money hollywood spends just like they have been doing with Wall-street and big companies and let the liberal,support socialism Obama crowds be told what they should be doing to help the country with all their money. I mean we want change right? Let them start shelling out some of their money for the poor people who have lost their homes and health care. Hollywood should start a fund,please everyone needs to spread this around,to help the American people in all their many many needs. The government is spending money they don’t have,borrowed money from China! What is going to happen to this beloved country when the bill comes due? Will Obama wave his messiah hand and all debt be vanquish? People who voted for Obama hated President Bush they would have voted for Hitler if he were still around. And I have listened to some of his speeches and hey their are some similarities. Just think of the millions and millions spent on celebrity salaries and Slumdog Millionaire is kicking butt. No famous people in that movie. Good movie too. It’s not about religion anymore it’s truth and this guy and too many like him see only what they want to see.
