“The Communists’ Greatest Victory Has Been in Convincing People They Don’t Exist”

Whether they call themselves Communists, Marxists, Socialists, Liberals or Progressives, it’s really just a distinction without a difference. I know there are subtle differences but they’re mostly inconsequential. The goal is the same, but some titles are more comfortable than others aren’t they? “No, I’m not a Marxist! Because…well…I don’t call myself a Marxist. No, no I’m a Progressive.”

Whatever comrade, call yourself a Twinkie if you like, it changes nothing. It’s your objectives that matter, and we know what they are so you’re not fooling anyone who is paying attention.

But that is exactly the problem isn’t it? Who is paying attention? How many even know what to look for anymore? In this age of political correctness where media aristocrats have decided what language we may use so as to never call anything what it really is, how can we be expected to know a duck when we see a feathered, web-footed, flat-billed, water-oriented bird?

I think it’s time for the word “commie” to make a comeback, what do you say!

Yes, welcome to FR. My lib relatives go nuts when I use the word “commie” or “communist” - claiming it’s so old-fashioned. They want me to think those who think like that were defeated years ago....as they vote for Obama.

The Communists aren’t so afraid to admit who they are, even in the 1950s Dissent Magazine championed American Communists after McCarthy had been smeared in the public arena.

They see no shame in BEING Communists. Then again, Stalinism means never having to admit any flaws.

Orwell saw it and wrote 2 books (Animal Farm and 1984) about it.

Fellow travellers in the media, academia, and government all are unwilling to call it an evil on par with Nazism.

I’m with you, I’m the black sheep from a family of Democrats. They don’t seem to understand that their party has been consumed by the hard left.

1984 should be required reading...not Al Gore’s ridiculous book. Amazing how so much of Orwell’s world has become reality.

say the word “communism” to some people and they’ll look at you as if you’re crazy, as they say, “communism was defeated years ago!”.

Marxist, Socialist, liberal, fascist, Democrat, Nazi, all mean the same thing, oppression.

“Satan’s Greatest Victory Has Been in Convincing People He Doesn’t Exist”

I’m pretty sure this originated with C.S. Lewis in “The Screwtape Letters”.

Right you are...speaking of Nazi, it’s amazing how they’re characterized as “right wing”. They were the National Socialist Workers’ Party...doesn’t sound very right wing to me. I’m tired of revisionist historians getting away with that one!

One of the problems we have is getting these people to recognize what they are doing IS promoting that communist ideology. It has been “renamed” so many times that even THEY have a difficult time recognizing it for what it is.

I always refer them to these 2 sites to help them “see the light”.

Yuri Bezmenov’s “useful idiots”.....

and

Something tells me the “goals” have become a “checklist” for the new Administration.

Also recommend they look up The Frankfurt School to see how it is being done.

Communist Goals is the What and The Frankfurt School is the How.

“Something tells me the “goals” have become a “checklist” for the new Administration.”

Sadly, many of the goals had already been accomplished before Obama took office. His administration will just be the straw that breaks the camel's back if we cannot educate the public about this.

Communist Goals #’s 16 thru 21 explain how an “inexperienced unknown” like Obama was voted into office.

Infiltration of schools and the media have cost us dearly.

It can’t hurt to also look at “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky, who is Obama’s mentor in ideology. It helps to understand where the community organizer connection comes into play.

I agree. I found a nice summary of those Rules for Radicals on the following page the other day. Everyone should pay attention.

Wow! I just pulled up an article about the Frankfurt school and it's connection to Obama’s Columbia University. It even mentions Bernadine Dohrn in the article. Too much coincidence for my comfort level.
