I hear ya. :) I’m about to barf just watching them fawn hoping to get an invite to a cocktail party. That is not why we sent them there and I want them to know this and you should too. Get loud make some noise. They must hear us.
Freedom is NOT Free.
I love it!!!! That is fabulous! I am thrilled to know you have done this. This is the kind of thing I am talking about.
I agree. That is how we ended up with McCain. I do not like him and I have been ticked ever since then. The guy I wanted was tossed out before I could ever really vote for him, because our primary came too late to really make a difference. I feel as if my vote got taken away from me so to speak. That was just the beginning of the rage I feel now.
I refuse to sit back and be silent any more. So should all of us.
Then we need to put our heads together and get a plan going. That was the whole point of me posting this. I want us to make plans.
Instead of bashing me, why not put that anger to some real use and e-mail your representative so much that it clogs his e-mail. If you want to slap me around you are slapping the wrong person.
Oh ouch did you think that up all by yourself of did your mommy help you. :P
I am not wanting to lead a movement I am simply wanting to get people motivated. Besides, why not? If Joe the Plumber can face down Obama and become a catch phrase for an entire election. Why not?
the first part of any plan would be to read Rules for Radicals....
then insist anyone seeking leadership position in the GOP does the same....
step 2— get a mission statement that all conservatives can agree on...Cherokee GOP of GA has a great one to start with...
just my 2 cents
I'm upset with the people who stuck their heads in a hole and let W wreck the GOP and the economy.
Michelle Bachmann was on Glenn Beck this afternoon and begged for all of us to call, fax, email our representatives, said the democrats are trying to force this through before the people get wind how bad it is...
as to how good or bad our representatives are... well that is because WE have not held their feet to the fire... a third party would be no better beacause basically American;s are lazy, have a manana attitude and let the other guy do it attitude... heck most cannot even bother to vote and then they sit back an complain.
Imagine your savings being worth a fraction of its present value if the liberals get their "stimulus" bill. They want us to be even more economically dependent on the government so they can force socialism on us
This is terrible and we need more discussion about it. Obama wants to rush it through even though it has no affect on any stimulation because he knows the people will eventually figure out how bogus it is.
I hope some of the politicians read these blogs so they can learn how angry we are with them. They are supposed to represent us which they seem to have forgotten.
What was the info on Hasterts former aid?
...Also says the former aide to ex-leader Hastert is a lobbyist and he is trying to "get something" on at least 40 GOP congressmen so they can peel them off... oh, and Obama is meeting with corporate CEO's tomorrow to put pressure on the GOP, too...
Is he trying to dig dirt on senators to get them to vote a certain way or did I misunderstand it?

Further, Politico has learned that some prominent Republican lobbyists are targeting about 40 of the remaining moderate or center-right House Republicans on the vote.

If you can just get some intel on 4-5 of the members and report it back to me, I will try to aggregate the information and get it back to the [White House] and House [Democratic] leadership, wrote Ralph Hellman in an e-mail Tuesday morning to fellow lobbyists, listing those House Republicans Obama considers in play. Hellman is lobbying in support of the stimulus package for technology companies, but Obama officials say hes not working with the White House.

Hellman, a former top aide to former Speaker Dennis Hastert, noted in the message that the Republican target list consisted of those who recently voted with Democrats on extending the SCHIP program.Privately, White House aides are playing less nice, warning Republicans what is at stake.
BTTT
Yeah, but you see what happened to Joe when he got in Obama's face. Obama had his goons digging through his trash can and IRS filings. Meanwhile, the GOP helped get a tax cheat installed in the Treasury and one who was Paulson's deputy at Goldman Sachs.
I was fed up with them in 2006 when it became apparent that they were going to push shamnesty down our throats regardless of the cost.
