I’m not that particularly worried about FR going down.

If something really bad was happening, Jim would know about it.

Sometimes I sense some of that abundant liberal imperious scorn coming from Freepers of relatively long standing. I have, just over the past couple of weeks, attempted to connect to several sites exploring Article II issue, and been blocked by my browser. One site was familiar to me so I explored the error message. The site had been deemed a ‘Sex site.’ I explicitly permitted access to the site - I was using Trend Data. It was a Christian site, including a little news, but pretty bland - books for Christian families, food drives for those in difficulty, etc. etc.

I do expect a First Amendment battle, and will be surprised if the committed and energetic left doesn't do its best to also shut off internet communication, since that will be the obvious alternative to radio, and perhaps an even more potent one.

This is still America. No matter how hard our corrupt and evil government hits us we hit back 10x harder. 0bama and his “disciples” bloody our nose and they lose a limb. “They send one of ours to the hospital and we send one of theirs to the morgue!”

Ditch all Yahoo, Google and Hotmail accounts, Why would any other account be any better than these three. Say I buy a .com domain and get my mail from GoDaddy or some other ISP. Once it's on the net if somone with access wants to snoop it they are going to. I fail to see how Hotmail is less secure than WeirdLittleISP.com's email.

Ideas are more powerful than guns. If we don't let our people have guns, why should we let them have ideas?

You post this tin-foil cage-liner and yet have no further comment after 194 posts? No replies? Do you know what “thread management” means? Do you want to find out?

"They" tried to shut down sites like this in the 2006 election cycle by trying to reclassify blogging as in-kind political contributions, therefore requiring bloggers to register as lobbyists.

That idea got shot down pretty quickly.
