Robert Gibbs made a splash yesterday at his first official press briefing as White House Spokesman, managing to make odd references to Brazilian soccer while outing confidential sources and generally making display of his ham-handed tactics and smarmy, arrogant style.

The whole administration reminds me of the jerk in the office who kisses butt enough to get ahead.

Just that creepy arrogance that makes you want to smack them.

I always pray that when they do fall, I’m at least around to witness it. I don’t always get my prayer, but I hope I do in this case.

Apparently the journalists were angrier than even I thought! Here's something from Drudge this morning that is very interesting! :-)

Obama flashes irritation in press room
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0109/17831.html

Loved this sentence from the last article: "President Obama made a surprise visit to the White House press corps Thursday night, but got agitated when he was faced with a substantive question."

Bwahahahahaha!! Schadenfreude!! Sounds like the honeymoon is OVER!!!! LOL!

I was thinking the same thing.

The next thought was he might be Gibbs replacement in a year.

Maybe the “Ultimate Zero” can get sissy Chrissy or Tom Brokeback to be his spokeswoman/press secretary.

Obama was pleased with Gibbs performance at the briefing and FOX News reported that Obama gave him a fist bump. (He is so kool and down low with that.)
