Speaking for myself, my attitude is that I no longer care about racism, or being called racist, or being thought of as a racist.

If somebody tells me that my opinion indicates I'm racist, my response will be "So?"

This doesn't mean that I will start being mean to black folks, just that I will care even less than I used to about being called names.

You raise an interesting point, I wonder how many people who view themselves as black are truly black with no other racial mix? I’m betting there aren’t that many. Yes, there are some but I bet it would be surprising to find how many have a little something extra.

The Jesse Jackson’s will say all that is left is repearations

Last year NC was discussing reparations. It was moved to the back burner because our democrap administration proudly spent this state into the hole. By the way, a year ago, about the time of Robert E. Lee's birthday, Judy Woodruff was interviewing three distinguished blacks successful in their fields. She asked that since there was a viable black candidate for president, were blacks happy with the status quo. One of them replied that they will be happy "when all whites are on their knees". Judy Woodruff and all the panelists grinned. Then without skipping a beat, Judy went on to ask about the week's festivities.
