Actually, anyone in Congress who supported Resolution 511 was doing nothing but trying to decieve the American public into believing that if one was born of TWO US citizens they were a “natural born” citizen. The Media also helped to further this belief, even though it is not true.
Interesting that the Resolution 511 would perhaps cover for McCain, as BOTH his parents were US citizens, but sure would not cover of Barack Hussien Obama aka Barry Soetoro! His father was NOT a US citizen.
As for what a Resolution is, read the following. It in no way is an amendment to the Constitution and therefore means nothing as to the Constitutional qualifications to hold the Office of President/Vice President.

They were working on this in Feb. of '08 when it was becoming evident that McCain was going to be stuffed down our throats and NOT YET fully apparent that Obama was going to beat Hillary. She may have been keeping open the option of BHO as her VP or she may have just wanted to run against McCain and needed to keep him looking eligible. The more on both sides that contributed to the pretence, the better for her--at least at that time.
Also, if she has the goods on BHO, she can and probably did demand that she gets a plum appointment plus an almost total repeat of the Clinton Crime Family really running things. And even with all that, if she finds a way to expose him without implicating herself, you can pretty well figure Biden will ask her to be his VP...
