From the Christian Science Monitor, a news report that officials in Pakistan have arrested a large number of people suspected of participation in the Bombay terrorism. Of course, the murdering thugs involved hid themselves behind the trappings of civilization. Thus, in shutting down the “charity,” Jamaat-ud-Dawa, which fronted for the terrorists, the following occurred:
"'We have arrested a total of 124 mid-level and top leaders of JuD in response to a UN resolution — 69 from Punjab, 21 from Sindh, eight from Balochistan and 25 from the NWFP — blocked six websites associated with the organisation and closed down its five relief camps,' the adviser said. He said 20 offices, 87 schools, two libraries, seven seminaries and a handful of other organisations and websites linked to Jamaatud Dawa had also been shut."
Lest we forget, Islamism is a culture—a way of organizing society from top to bottom; hence, in fighting it, one shuts down offices, schools, libraries and seminaries. Islamism cannot be reconciled with a world that prefers liberal democracy. Wherever it is, Islamism is a life-threatening, systemic infection of civilization. That is not such a bad metaphor; like a retrovirus, Islamism has learned how to use the mechanisms of modern culture against it. Maybe more people would get it if we made the analogy explicit: Islamofascism is like AIDS.
They will transfer all this to a diferent agency.
Yesterday a friend sent an email about how these Islamofacists dicipline little boys. This email had a series of pictures and it would make you sick.A little boy of 8 years old ( looked younger to me) got caught stealing some bread from a market. So the pictures detailed his punishment..a man was kneeling beside this little boy who had a look of not understanding what was about to happen. His little arm was balanced on small blanket and stretched out so that an automobile could and did drive across his little forarm to crush it so he could never use his left hand again...

If the authors goal is to frighten people, then why would he pick an analogy that will cause the average person to think there is nothing to fear?
AIDS? I’d say it’s more like rabies.
The symptoms are similar: insanity, frothing at the mouth, and death.
