To my Conservative Friends:
My friends and co-workers kid me all the time because every time we go out on the streets of the big city, it seems I am always the target of the Panhandlers, Beggars, Do-Nothings, Homeless or whatever you want to call the people with the cups in their hands asking for money, food or whatever... If only they read this blog, they would avoid me like the plague!!!!
I do love the creativity and ingenious signs they come up with to increase donations to their cause... We have some doozies in NYC, but other cities have some creative vagabonds as well... If these people utilized 50% of their smarts getting their lives in order as they did creating witty panhandling signs, they would be well on the road back to being useful members of society....
Anyway, Here are some of my favorite panhandle monikers of 2008:

From the headline I thought this would be a thread about Mike Duncan and his panhandling for the RNC!
Oh well. Mike Duncan and the RNC get the same reply from me as all the other lazy, shiftless, doped-up criminal panhandlers do. No thank you!
I bring them cookies, dog biscuits, and the occassional five dollar bill. I don't know, however, that they aren't contributing to society just by being who they are.
As the primary purpose of our participation in productive society seems to be to support the government (because taxation, when all types and fees are combined eats up over 50% of the average person's salary); I can't say that I blame them for not wanting to participate.Maybe they just want their lives to be about them, 100%.
They are a constant (good) reminder to me that you don't have to play.

As for Mike Duncan, I have no sympathy for a party or a Company that rewards failure. And Mike Duncan has clearly failed in his role (maybe its not all his fault, but it happened on his watch) and he is clearly not the person to bring a new fresh voice to the party leadership that is sorely needed...
Ask 10 of your Republican friends/co-workers, who the Chair of the RNC is...
If 3 of them know, that would surprise me.... Thats the problem....

They tried to give the stumps to the homeless and they wouldn’t take them... They were offended!!!!

Yeah, I admit it doesn’t make sense. But I’m striving for perfection, so I have to work on that arrogance thing. It’s my last known fault. ;-)
