I’ m a troll who has been here for five years, waiting for just the right moment to expose myself in such a stupid controversy?
While it may be an easy way for you to get out of having to defend your beliefs, your accusation has no foundation in reality. I’m merely tired of Free Republic being over run with laughable conspiracy theories. The idea that a candidate can get through the primaries (against the Clintons, for crying out loud!) and the general election while hiding the fact that he’s not eligible is absurd on the face of it. Even more absurd is the fact that those who promote this idea think that they can get away with spreading it without providing even a single shred of evidence in their favor.
I submit that I’m not the troll. While I certainly don’t believe you to be a troll, either, (you’re one of the more respected members here) there are a slew of newbies who have signed up since May of last year solely to spread this story, which does nothing but make FR look ridiculous. I think that those of you who have bought this garbage are merely guilty of wishful thinking.
You’re a CoLB troll, not an FR troll.
From the FRONT PAGE of FR, From the FOUNDER, in the FIRST SENTENCE of the statement, you’ll find where you’ve gone wrong.
Statement by FR’s Founder:
In our continuing fight for freedom, for America and our constitution...
So, Mr. French Coward troll, quit shooting those of us who are still in the fight.
Im merely tired of Free Republic being over run with laughable conspiracy theories.
***You’re completely full of Bovine Feces. There have been tons of conspiracy theories in the past, including ChemTrails, Vince Foster, Monica Lewinsky, etc. If you don’t like it, stay the heck off the threads. Instead, you’re actively trying to discourage constitutionalists on this constitutional website. You’re a FReeping Coward. This issue has 5 concurrent cases before SCOTUS, and our own resident constitutional scholar, Congressman Billybob, says the chances of one case being forwarded for conference is 1/200. So the chances of the issue being forwarded 3 times is 1/8M, but there’s more: Berg v Obama has been forwarded twice so we are in the 1/1.6Billion range. Name ONE other issue that this has happened with. You can’t. Are you going to be accusing the SCOTUS of engaging in a laughable conspiracy theory? YOU ARE A TROLL. GET LOST.
The idea that a candidate can get through the primaries (against the Clintons, for crying out loud!) and the general election while hiding the fact that hes not eligible is absurd on the face of it.
***You don’t know your constitution. 20th Amendment, the PRESIDENT ELECT may fail to qualify. Why don’t you even BOTHER to try to come up to speed, troll?
Even more absurd is the fact that those who promote this idea think that they can get away with spreading it without providing even a single shred of evidence in their favor.
***More bovine feces. Read Polarik’s 160 page report. Read the 17 lawsuits winding their way through the court system. “One single shred of evidence” — that right there is proof that you are a troll.
I submit that Im not the troll.
**I’d be more than happy to have it settled. Feel free to find the Free Republic definition of troll and tell us how it does not apply to you. In the meantime, quit trolling these threads.
While I certainly dont believe you to be a troll, either, (youre one of the more respected members here) there are a slew of newbies who have signed up since May of last year solely to spread this story, which does nothing but make FR look ridiculous.
***Bull Shiite. Do the math. 1/1.6BILLION odds. 17 concurrent cases. None of the other conspiracy issues ever got this much legitimacy. This is a constitutionalist website and if you aren’t up to speed on simple constitutional principles then you should simply go into lurker mode because you are acting as a troll.
I think that those of you who have bought this garbage are merely guilty of wishful thinking.
***Merely? Why do you log onto a constitutionalist website and actively seek to discourage those who are defending the constitution? Who the gentle caress do you think you are?
And the Bush administration blew up the Twin Towers.
I get already!
The problem here is that these theories have a lot of evidence to support them that has not been countered. They could be completely debunked simply by producing a true birth certificate. But Obama has spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to keep that from happening, not even wanting it to be seen by a judge in chambers in consult with a document expert, not to be released to the public. Logically that means it can't be a matter of privacy.
I've had to show my birth certificate for all sorts of things that were far short of meeting a constitutional requirement for the highest office of the land. Why is Obama willing to spend time and money, and feed conspiracy theorists caviar, to avoid doing what most of us have to do from time to time?
A rational person who doesn't even believe in the conspiracy has to ask, "Why?"
“I submit that Im not the troll”
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by a sense of helplessness due to the fact that so many people voted for Obama combined with the fact that his colleagues, associates and supporters have resorted to tactics such as intimidation, threats, strong arming and even acts of terrorism.
Maybe you suffer from a form of Stockholm Syndrome—you are forced, by a fear of Obama which overpowers you and obliterates all prior loyalty to your long held core beliefs, to identify with Obama and fiercely oppose his critics.
