Two good reads.

Yes- mathematics was used to create the V2 rocket, so the mathematicians are to blame for the resurgence of Naziism.

And physics, chemistry, and biology were certainly used against the Jews — so we must hold physicists, chemists and the evil biologists to blame for the evils perpetrated on the Jews.

Good thing we got rid of them — silly things like disease must give way to emotional arguments. No need to try to end Tay Sachs — research being perpetrated by the evil medical scientists who use the same techniques as dr. mengila must be discarded as eeevil.

Very good post! The movie, EXPELLED, point out just how Darwinism has become tyrannical in the scientific fields....which overflows into other aspects of our lives.

It’s interesting how some people want to make a god of science and yet fail to see how good science seems to confirm the existence of a very wise Creator.

I see what is going on with the global warming fiasco, and how dissenting opinions are pooh poohed as not being scientifically sound. I see outright opponents and mere questioners of the global warming theory being treated in ways meant to humiliate and degrade, all in an effort to discredit them.

Then I remember that is exactly what is done to those who dare to question the theory of evolution.

Those who claim to be scientifically minded should be ashamed of themselves when they behave in such a fashion.

It might be said that “two wrongs don’t make a right” applies in this situation. The wrongs of religion vs. the wrongs of anti-religion.

The first wrong was assigned to religion, and is seen clearly in the institution of marriage. In human history, marriage has been sponsored and ritualized by religion. But to some extent, it was also corrupted by cultural modifications, such as arranged marriages and dowry.

To the anti-religious, this made marriage abhorrent, and their assumption was that marriage was just a religious convention, with no other value. So they sought, and still seek, to dispense with marriage, or at least destroy it as an institution. In turn, they want to replace marriage with “just” biological reproduction, like animals use to procreate.

What they never considered was that marriage has a very important biological value as well. That it is done because it is far superior to “just” biological reproduction. That it has purposes beyond religion.

Marriage provides the man with the societal enforced promise that his children are his own. For her part, marriage promises the woman that the father will provide for and help her raise her children. And the benefits to the children are obvious. All of these are tangible biological reasons for monogamous marriage.

But this is missed by the anti-religious, who have created any amount of trouble for people by disabusing marriage.

So how does this relate to Darwinism? Simple. The anti-religious want to deconstruct religion, because they think it to be random fantasy without any real underpinnings. They do not realize that religion has very tangible reasons, which if they are forsaken, lead to horrific tragedy, violence and suffering.
