Of course they did. It's Massachusetts. The voters passed a ballot initiative that made possession of less than an ounce marijuana a civil violation with no criminal consequences. And since Massachusetts is run by libtards, the law has shockingly caused a whole lot of problems. For starters, the police have given up - they won't even bother to write the ticket.

Then let's get Wickard v Filburn overturned, and make it permanent.
Or how to support the Mexican drug lords real smart!

1. MA Legislature continues doing business with no quorum - contrary to Constitution. On New Years Eve: 2 Senators meet and pass laws! Media just shrugs shoulders, doesn’t consider it newsworthy.
# PARKING IN BUS STOPS: The Senate enacted H 4891 increasing the fine for parking in posted bus stops to $100.00.
# BREASTFEEDING IN PUBIC. This bill would have never passed normally. No longer. The Senate enacted S 2438, which says that no business or public accommodation may restrict public breastfeeding in any way [including exposure incidental to it], or else face prosecution. Moreover, even criticizing a woman who breastfeeding can lead to a $500 fine. (A hate crime?) A draconian victory for the “me” generation. There are some places where it’s simply not appropriate, or at least should be done with a bit of modesty.
(Don’t be fooled by this one; i think it is moved by the desire to abrogate public indecency laws)
The problem is the lowered barriers that are in place until you go nappy.
Uhhh, yeah, that's what getting drunk and losing self-control is. Along with a loss of motor skills, loss of memory, temporary loss of vision, in some instances a partial or complete loss of ethical and moral boundaries and more... None of which happens on pot.
Yeah your 420 friendly folks make ideal brain surgeons.
Good news! They should decriminalize the rest, and watch violent crime and the resultant infringements on our 4th and 2nd amendments dry up.
Hey I agree 100% that these things should be legal, but why the libertarian/conservative push to tax them?
When your mental clarity fails there’s always ad-hominems ... right? lol
People smoke 20 or more cigarettes per day, but generally only smoke small amounts of pot, sort of like having a cocktail in the evening after work. Ingesting PCP or other chemicals has nothing to do with the debate on pot itself.
There's responsible use and then there's abuse. Some people only have a drink or two after work, others start drinking at breakfast. One's usage of anything like this is the determining factor in how it's going to affect your health.
thats rich, a pot supporter talking about mental clarity.
We can compare your statements to mine. You’ve brought a knife to a gun fight. ;^)
I’ll just wait for you to fall asleep and then I win.
No, alcohol is a depressant. If you drink too much you will take a nap. The problem is the lowered barriers that are in place until you go nappy.
Nope. It's much better, and far less needs to be smoked to achieve the desired results.
“I think it was pretty much over for you when you made this ridiculous statement...”
Oh did you find that with your pot enhanced brain?
Perhaps you should read the post I was responding to if you haven’t fallen asleep yet.
Exactly! In addition marijuana smoke opens the bronchii and tobacco smoke closes them.
"Extreme" pot "impairment" = Nap
"Extreme" alcohol "impairment" = alcohol poisoning, coma, death
So far you haven't responded with anything of rational substance but now you're not making any sense at all.
I thought pot heads were supposed to be calm and easy going. I begin to see why so many people related to pot get killed in fits of rage.
Booze is bad when abused.
If pot were legalized there would be a decrease in pot related crime. The war on drugs is an obvious loss with 2 million people in our jails. 51% of those in federal prison are there because of drug related crimes.
Pot is not a harmless drug. It does alter the brain. Further it is a gateway drug and would lead to increased use of harder drugs.
I don’t have the answers but the booze vs pot arguments are boorish. I’ve met many people who drank responsibly and were contributing members of society. I can’t say the same of pot heads.
