I feel the same way. Seems to me that Ed Hale did some real good hype and he best make sure he verifies before he makes statements as he did last night.
One would think that he would have had the PI fax a copy to at least review before he said anything. Or, the document could have easily been scanned and sent by email. This delay needs some real explaining!

Ole Chief Editor Korir was *always* incensed that anyone would question him about a “delay” or that he had to explain anything. How could everyone be so rude as to ask him to explain. He then quoted a few Bible verses for good measure.
He assured everyone that he was doing all he could (and was waiting for the next bid from Obama, of course...).
