Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's appointment of Roland Burris has put the Democratic party in a box. By appointing an African-American to the empty Senate seat, Blagojevich has forced his political opponents to risk being called racists. In supporting the appointment, Congressman Bobby Rush called opposition to Burris an attempted lynching. Whether this analogy is justified is questionable, but it is the same tactic that has been used against conservatives for decades, most recently by the Obama campaign. Democrats are getting a dose of their own medicine, and I hope it goes down like a bitter pill.
Holy Makerel dere Andy!
Blago: Check
your move democrats....

Lets sit back, get comfortable and let the fireworks begin. Bet they blame it all on President Bush.
When did the Obama campaign use this tactic?
Hilarious!!
Sounds like your average Democrap.
Blago is also threatening Harry Reid. Reid faces a tough reelection race in Nevada — he’s less popular than President Bush there. If Harry doesn’t play ball, he may lose the African-American vote there for being a “racist.”
Notice how Blag kept looking back at the curtain backdrop? That's b/c the Chicago PTB have a contract out on him.
Daley's boys were locked and loaded behind the curtain, aiming AK47's at Blago's back. If Blago didn't sound really, REALLY sincere, he was dead meat.
When Blag announced, "I have done nothing wrong," that's when Daley gave the signal to his boys to relax their trigger fingers.

" If you bow out, I can get you a lucrative deal----the Hair Club wants to show
anxious bald guys that bad things can happen when you have TOO much hair."
And I just heard via local radio station from Las Vegas that Harry Reid says NO WAY TO Burris will be accepted. I hope Harry steps in it good this time!!
I believe the Joffrey School of Ballet affirmed Rahm's bona fides. After all Rahm
won a scholarship to the prestigious school of ballet---he was that good in a tutu.
"My graceful lifts when I dance the pas de deux with
Valerie Jarrett, will convince 'em I'm totally innocent."
"We double checked with The Joffrey School of Ballet."
" Rahm solved that problem by stuffing a sock into his leotard."
There are questions that no one is asking here, so I’ll go ahead and ask them:
1) How much did Burris “donate” to Blago for this “f***ing golden thing”?
2) What did potty-mouth Patty get out of this?
Just my honest opinion. The deal as I see it:
(1) Blago names Burris, (2) Daley orders his boys to layoff the gov, (3) Patty gets to lay Daley's boys.
The Obama transition team used Blago's divide-and-conquer technique by naming Rick Warren to do the invocation at the inauguration.
Evangelicals are the largest single, cohesive voting block in the U.S. Most of them are afraid Obama is the anti-christ, a Muslim terrorist, or a baby killer Commie.
With one seemingly innocuous decision, he just told half of them (social cons) that he wasn't such a "bad guy" and he likes Christians. This all in spite of the brand of hate wielded by his pastor of 20-years.
Splitting the baby (aka the Solomon strategy) is an effective political strategy used on an otherwise dim public.
Blago just showed he's willing and able to split the Black Democrat IL Caucus.
Don’t mean to quibble, but you said the “Obama campaign”, not his transition team.
True, the names “campaign” and “transition team” are different, but it’s the exact same cast of characters: Jarrett, Axelrod, Emmanuel, Pritzker, and the source groups Move On, DA, ACORN, SEIU, etc.
She doesn’t look to me that (3) would be much of a payoff...but then again Blago and Daley’s taste in women and mine probably differ.
oh.. I forgot Plouffe. He’s been around the same.
