How about she just runs for POTUS in 2012, wins and passes a reverse “Fairness Doctrine” which essentially tells them to kiss her @ss? LOL!

(We in the independent media will carry her water.) :)

I see Palin as a good person. She made voting for McPain less DIStasteful but I would not want her as my President. There are others out there ready to do the job I want.

I wish her well but it is time for people to move on ... .

Unless there is a strong effort to create a more effective news service, the independent media as it now exists is far too tiny a voice to counter the lies and propaganda currently spread about Gov Palin and other non-socialists. It seems that conservatives generally underestimate the power of information and the ocean of misinformation against the droplets of truth and honest reports.

Someone should ask people with entrepreneurial spirit and means if they would be willing to support an “American News Service” that would operate a cable news channel, print and web news service, and a news story feed service. The goal would be to provide more visibility and availability of accurate information. This would be sort of a BBC for the United States but with the first guiding principle of accurate reports. There is good money to be made in this although the traditional models of news agencies would best be discouraged to take a fresh but promising approach. The traditional news media model is: low cost substitution of opinions and editorials for news, copy every other service, first principle is speed not accuracy, conventional wisdom about what appeals, etc. The new model would complement the legions of internet news fans and provide an honorable and noble service to the world. It should be the standard, not CNN. I volunteer to help — who might be interested?
