As the evidence continued to build against Ohio Bureaucrat Helen Jones-Kelley for doing an illegal search on Joe the Plumber's background, she remained on unpaid "leave" because of a different violation. She used the states e-mail system to campaign for Obama. Today she finally resigned from her position, two of her superiors left their jobs also...........

As if she (and the others) haven’t done that before! They just didn’t get caught.
Justice in a small sense. Served a little bit late, but still justice after a fashion. She deserves to be in jail IMHO.
Jones-Kelley also also did a little partisan fundraising work using her state e-mail account and the Obama campaign made at least $2,500 from her rulebreaking. That’s a no-no that will be hard for her to evade since the investigator reportedly has the e-mail already in hand. She can’t claim ignorance of the rules either as she was advised by the state’s legal counsel in an e-mail about the rules covering proper political activity and forwarded that information to her own subordinates.
No doubt there were hundreds of thousands of this woman around federal, state, and muni agencies all around the country during this election. They just didn’t get caught.
Please people relax the ACLU are all over this...
In a four-paragraph statement, she said, “it is with sadness and clarity that I have decided to resign...This decision comes after having a time of pause, in which I realize that I continue to be used as a political postscript, providing a distraction from urgent state priorities.
“My professional career, and the legacy of service I have established, has been, and continues to be, far too important for me to allow my reputation and my commitment as a servant leader to be disparaged. I also remain concerned for the safety of my family and myself.”
Darn. Who would have guessed that state workers are corrupt?

What’s puzzling here is that since she wasn’t fired, are we expected to believe she resigned out of some sense of public shame or remorse?
That would be a first in this century (or the later decades of the previous one).

She can resign her position, AND BE PROSECUTED for violating the law.
And that is precisely why nobody will rat out Obama about his “nationality”. Birth certificate, college records, all sealed to protect WHAT? No one wants to risk getting busted, so mum’s the word. But Joe the Plumber? He’s chopped liver...
